I have owned the Partner LUX 3 for a few years. I bought it only as an electronic dictionary for language maintainance in languages I have learned over the years such as German, Spanish & French. I specifically bought this LUX 3 with the Hebrew language set up because I wanted to learn a non-Indo-European language, and I wanted the Android Hebrew keyboard and a talking Hebrew dictionary to be sure of correct pronounciation. As I have got to learn this device, I realized I can do almost anything with it that I can with my laptop computer. When my wife & I travel for recreation, I no longer bring along the laptop. If you have an HDMI cable, you can play UA-cam videos over the hotel tv, etc. Some times I might not know how to say a certain phrase in a certain language; so I use the translator to type it and play the sentence back. The screen is touch-sensitive, which is great. Because I consider myself an autodidactic learner, I will use the dictionary to help me learn the meaning of every warning/ safety sign in the hotel and elevator or airport, so that I instantly understand everything around me. Or I will type in the wording on a street sign as we travel through a country by bus. It is fun and very helpful. If I lost this, I would buy another!
